Concrete Pool Construction

Building a concrete pool is an exciting journey. While every site is a little different, the construction process follows a clear, proven sequence from the first dig to the final fill.

1. Digging

Concrete pool construction starts with excavation. Once the pool layout is set and levels are confirmed, we dig the pool shell to the exact shape and depth required. This stage transforms your backyard and is often when the project really starts to feel real.

2. Steel Reinforcement (Mesh)

Next, steel reinforcement is installed throughout the pool. This mesh forms the internal skeleton of the pool, giving it strength and durability. It’s carefully shaped to follow the pool design and engineered to handle ground movement and water pressure.

3. Concrete Spray

This is one of the most impressive stages of concrete pool construction. When this is happening, people come from everywhere to get a glimpse! Using a high-pressure concrete spray, the pool shell is formed over the steel reinforcement, creating a solid, seamless structure. This process locks everything in place and gives the pool its final shape.

4. Finishing Touches

This stage is where everything comes together. Tiles and coping are installed to define the pool’s look, and the surrounding area is cleaned and tidied in preparation for handover. Once complete, the pool is filled with water and final checks are carried out, bringing your new pool to life and ready for enjoyment.
